"I wanted the girls to have super sexy hair with a glass-like finish," says Bumble and bumble's editorial stylist Dennis Lanni, who created the hair for Hervé Léger's spring 2009 show. "I aimed to impart an airy texture to the hair so that it moved freely on the runway. The style is polished but with an effortlessly modern feelthe length of hair is treated with lightweight products and has a slight bend at the ends for movement."
In styling the look, Lanni began by prepping damp hair with a lightweight conditioner. After spraying Bb. Styling Lotion on strands, he used a flat brush to blow-dry hair from roots to ends and parted down the center with a fine tooth comb ("If the part is crooked, the polished look is ruined"). To finish, he flat-ironed hair and sealed the look with Bb. Spray de Mode hairspray for shine and control.
