At Anna Sui's spring 2009 show, natural was the word. "It's pretty organic—it's just as if the girls shampooed their hair and let it air-dry," says legendary coiffeur Garren. To style the wavy do, he began by prepping hair with his Designing Hair Tonic and blow-drying. "The tonic helps accentuate the waves, add shine, and take the frizz out," he says. In finishing the look, Garren then used a waving iron to create movement at the ends. "It just gives the hair a nice soft bend and adds a little texture without too much curl," he says.
