SAG Awards 2011: Best Red Carpet Beauty Looks Celebrity Award Show Hairstyles - Sag Award Hairstyles

Celebrity Award Show Hairstyles - Sag Award Hairstyles - ELLE From pumped-up curls to bright pink lips, see who wore the hottest hair and makeup of the evening.

Claire Danes

She stole the screen as the title character in HBO's television movie Temple Grandin—and ruled the red carpet with her electric watermelon pout.

Amber Riley

Like Danes, the Glee actress also sported a pop-out pucker. CoverGirl makeup artist Mylah Morales accentuated Riley's mouth with CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Embrace.

Hilary Swank

Though the Conviction star lost out to Natalie Portman for Best Actress, she got major points for her glamorous waves! Inspired by 1960s Hollywood siren and Bond girl, Ursula Andress, Moroccanoil hairstylist Robert Vetica curled and pinned one-inch-wide sections around Swank's head, starting at the nape of her neck ("It almost had the look of a '60's hot roller set"). After misting Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray over the top, he let curls sit for 20 minutes. Once giving hair "a good brushing," Vetica backcombed at the roots for extra volume.

January Jones

Taking his cue from the 1950s, Fekkai hairstylist Renato Campora pinned Jones' strands up—save for a sculpted wave of side-fringe. To create the necessary volume and smoothness for this, Campora blow-dried Jones' hair with Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip and Fekkai Coiff Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm, using a one-inch curling iron for added boost.

Besides flaunting a chic hairstyle, Jones also glowed from within—thanks to Chanel makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who wanted the Mad Men star's makeup to have a "shimmering, candlelit" quality. To accomplish this, Goodwin used gold cream shadow on the inside corners of Jones' eyes, Soleil Tan De Chanel Moisturizing Bronzing Powder along her cheekbones, and reflective pink gloss on her lips.

Natalie Portman

Like Jones, the Black Swan star (and SAG Award winner!) also opted for an amplified wave at the front of her updo. It's her smoldering brown eyes and perfectly defined lashes, however, which we deem most lust-worthy.

Mila Kunis

Portman's Black Swan costar chose to wear her locks loose—and we love the results! To craft the romantic look, TreSemmé stylist Mara Roszak began by applying TreSemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse to Kunis' wet strands and blow-drying them with a medium-size round brush. After curling sections with a one-inch barrel curling iron, Roszak raked her fingers through Kunis' waves to separate and define.

Kate Mara

Though Mara wasn't in Black Swan, it appears she was inspired by the movie's ballet theme. Dressing up a simple bun with a slipper-pink headband, Mara accentuated her feminine look with a burst of lashes and rosy lips.

Amy Adams

The Fighter actress's sleek ponytail allows her silver earrings and chic white gown to shine—which was the exact effect that Fekkai hairstylist Adir Abergel was going for. After blow-drying and flatironing Adams' hair, Abergel gathered strands into a high pony. How to find the perfect spot? "Follow the cheekbone line all the way up and place the base of the ponytail at that point," he says.

A pulled-back hairdo also serves to enhance Adams' eye-catching gaze. Lancôme makeup artist Molly Stern used Lancôme Artliner in Brown and Lancôme Définicils High Definition Mascara in Deep Black to emphasize Adams' peepers.

Christina Hendricks

To complement her sexy undone locks, Christina Hendricks chose enticing eye makeup. "Christina was inspired by Brigitte Bardot's black smoky eyes and nude face," says CoverGirl makeup artist Vanessa Scali. Using CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Onyx Smoke on the lid, Scali swept out past the natural lash line "to exaggerate the eye size and add a touch of red carpet drama." Next, she used liquid black liner along the lash line and pumped up lashes with a multi-tasking mascara.

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum

Specially designed hydration penetrates the skin's surface, giving it a more lifted appearance. Skin appears brighter, more radiant and significantly firmer after just five days.

Dianna Agron

Though she typically goes with a subtle eye, the Glee actress chose to showcase her deep brown peepers with earthy shades of brown and burgundy: Using Chanel Intense Eye Pencil in Ambre to outline the eye, Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee applied cinnamon- and gray-toned shadow along the lid, then curled lashes and coated them with a dark brown mascara. To finish, she framed Agron's eyes with defined, sculpted brows courtesy of brow pencil and tinted brow gel.

Jenna Ushkowitz

To show off the Glee star's stunning necklace, Suave hairstylist Theodore Leaf chose a textured updo. Before pinning Ushkowitz's hair up, Leaf sprayed Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Extra Hold Hairspray on dry hair to add texture and used a flatiron to create loose curls. Add a soft wash of eye shadow and bright, glimmering lips and Ushkowitz was ready for her close-up!

Rosario Dawson

By pairing side-swept waves with neutral makeup, Dawson let her dazzling emerald earrings do the talking.

Lea Michele

Sexy, roughed-up tresses with a '70s edge went hand in hand with Michele's slinky beaded gown. "I drew a lot of inspiration from photos of Bianca Jagger," says Dove hairstylist Mark Townsend. Using Dove Body & Lift Volumizing Mousse on Michele's damp hair for texture, Townsend blow-dried with a round brush and curled two- to three-inch-wide sections of hair with a one-inch curling iron for loose, spontaneous waves: "While curling, I made sure to alternate the time I held each curl in the iron because the longer you apply heat, the sharper the curl. I alternated the curl time between two and 10 seconds to create different shapes throughout the hair."

Hailee Steinfeld

The True Grit star paired au naturel locks with earth-toned makeup for a luminous finish. To groom her enviable arches, Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup artist Stephen Sollitto used Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash and Anastasia Brow Definer. He also highlighted the brow bone by blending Anastasia Brow Duality in Camille/Sand along it.
